Natural And Organic Products Are All The Hype Right Now And For Good Reason

Organic is a word that’s gaining more and more traction everyday. You see in everywhere: on food labels, personal care and beauty product, even clothing and housing goods! When it comes to beauty products, there’s a lot of debate to whether this whole ‘organic’ thing is just a marketing ploy or if it actually matters when it comes to hair care. When purchasing beauty products, it’s our belief that organic always wins, and here’s why:

Safer to Use

Conventional products are loaded with unrecognizable and toxic ingredients. The standard for safety is so low in the beauty industry that they can throw just about anything in there. It’s not a well-known fact but chemicals actually absorb the easiest through the skin. And with the skin being the largest organ in your body, that’s a lot of opportunity for nasty chemicals to sneak into your blood stream.

Organic products are safer because they use all-natural ingredients. Most organic products will have an ingredient list you’ll understand, filled with herbs and plant-based oils that are good for the body inside and out. Products you’re leaving on your body for a long time are especially important when it comes to sourcing organic because they have a higher chance of entering your bloodstream. This includes products like: body lotion, deodorant, hair treatments and styling products, and moisturizers/serums.

Better Results

Many products claim to work miracles but what they’re really doing is masking the problem rather than fixing it. Hair care products are a great example in how many of them contain silicone ingredients, which just creates a soft and silky laver over the hair without actually nourishing the strands. This layer piles up and contributes to product build-up, making it hard to wash off and cleanse properly, which leads to a whole other set of problems.

Organic hair care products are a priority when it comes solving any hair care issue such as: dry hair, frizzy hair, itchy scalp, spilt ends etc. The Innate Life Complete Haircare Bundle will tackle all these issues naturally. The Innate Life Herbal Shampoo + Conditioner also work wonders in getting rid of pesky product build-up and cleansing hair naturally.

More Nutrients

Mainstream cosmetics lack nutrients and often only have 1 or 2 key ingredients that may be natural, such as coconut oil or rosehip oil. Even then, there’s no telling the quality of these ingredients or how concentrated they are. Natural and organic are stacked with essential nutrients and vitamins your skin and hair needs to thrive! Take The Innate Life Rose Hair Elixir for example: it contains Sea Buckthorn Oil which is rich in vitamin A, C, D, B, E, and K, Rosehip Oil which contains vitamin A and E, and Black Cumin Seed Oil which contains tons of antioxidants – and it doesn’t stop there! This hair oil contains 12 more organic and nutrient-dense oils. Natural ingredients rich in nutrients and vitamins have both beautifying and healing properties.

More Bang for Your Buck

A common misconception about organic products is that they are way more expensive and while this seems truth, it’s not totally accurate. This is because natural and organic products are often very concentrated with little to none filler ingredients. Therefore, you need less product to get the job done AND they last longer. Of course drugstore brands are cheap, the price is representative of their quality. Buy a higher-end beauty product from Chanel, Lancôme, etc. and there’s no difference in price compared to a natural and organic product. Quality should be your number 1 priority!

So why use organic products? There’s really no argument NOT to. It boils down to the quality of the product and your overall safety. Cheap products are experts in masking problems while natural and organic products are experts in healing. If saving a few bucks means being subject to a long list of health risks, you can count us out!
